In plain words, you apply during 2026 and you intern in summer 2027. Roles run from tire plants in South Carolina, Georgia, Kansas and Iowa to sales, digital and supply chain at the Greenville headquarters. What Is a Michelin Internship?

A Michelin internship is a student internship or co-op at Michelin North America, Inc., the US arm of the French tire maker, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. Michelin's Students page says the company offers internship and co-op opportunities each year and recruits on campuses every fall and spring. There is no single branded program: each plant, research center or office posts its own req, from quality and process engineering at tire plants to sales and digital roles at headquarters. Michelin doesn't publish a class size, a pay rate or a conversion rate.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

Michelin applies the same hard criteria to almost every req.

• Enrollment: full-time at an accredited four-year college or university.

• GPA: a minimum cumulative 3.0, stated on 30 of the 31 reqs and on the Students page.

• Age: at least 18.

• Work authorization: US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing, indefinite basis. All 31 reqs say the position isn't available for immigration sponsorship.

• Majors: by role, such as chemical, mechanical, industrial, computer or electrical engineering for plant roles, and business for sales. Plant roles need a willingness to work Monday to Friday on day shift.

Can International Students Apply?

Not to these reqs. Every one of the 31 says it isn't available for immigration sponsorship, and the Students page asks for permanent legal right to work in the US. Michelin tells international students studying in the US to search its recruitment site by country instead, so look there for roles in your home country.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is named in 29 of 31 reqs, and teamwork and professional communication appear in nearly all.
