Ipsos has named its summer 2027 US internship but hasn't posted it yet. Its US early-careers page sets the Market Research Internship for Monday, June 7 to Friday, August 13, 2027, says applications will be reviewed from January 2027 and interviews will begin in February 2027, and states that Ipsos doesn't sponsor US work authorization. None of the 14 US openings on Ipsos's own job site on October 25, 2026 was a student role. In plain words: you intern in summer 2027, applications are reviewed from January 2027, and the posting itself is the thing to watch between now and then.

What Is an Ipsos Internship?

An Ipsos internship is a summer placement on a market research team at Ipsos in the United States. Ipsos describes itself as one of the world's largest market research companies, with offices in 90 countries and over 5,000 clients worldwide. Its US early-careers page says interns work as part of a team on a variety of research projects: scoping project plans and schedules, scripting questionnaires, creating and checking data outputs, contributing to presentations and reports, and keeping regular client contact. Projects can use quantitative, qualitative, neuroscience and data science methods. Ipsos has internships in other countries, including Italy, Denmark and Singapore, which are outside this guide.

When Do Ipsos Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?

Ipsos publishes its internship calendar itself, and it hasn't moved. The same early-careers page, as the Internet Archive captured it on March 25, 2026, gave the summer 2026 program as June 8 to August 14, 2026 with applications reviewed from January 2026 and interviews from February 2026. The 2027 page repeats the shape: review from January 2027, interviews from February 2027, program June 7 to August 13, 2027. That puts review about five months before the start and interviews about four. Ipsos doesn't say when the requisition posts, and none was live on October 25. Two cycles with the same calendar make the summer 2028 shape (review from January 2028) a reasonable expectation, though Ipsos hasn't published it.

No US internship requisition is posted. Ipsos's job site on October 25, 2026 listed 183 openings worldwide, 14 in the US, none for students. The page already names the Market Research Internship Summer 2027.

January 2027EXPECTED

Ipsos says it will begin reviewing summer 2027 applications. The posting date isn't stated, so we expect the requisition to be live by now. Treat early January as the working cutoff.

February 2027

Ipsos says it expects to start contacting applicants for interviews. The interview format isn't published.

June 7 to August 13, 2027

The summer 2027 internship, with flexibility on dates. Interns work on research projects, with training in report writing, client exposure, Microsoft Office and statistics.

How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.

Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open

Ipsos hasn't said whether the internship is rolling or has a deadline, so we won't claim either. What it does say is that review starts in January 2027, so a late-December application could be read in the first pass and a March application may be reviewed after interviews have begun. The safest plan is to apply as soon as the requisition appears, and in any case before the first week of January 2027. Because Ipsos hasn't published the posting date, check its job site every week or two from now.

Which Ipsos Internship Programs Should You Target?

Ipsos in the US names one summer internship. Here is how it compares with the other early-career routes Ipsos describes.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

Ipsos's page gives few formal requirements. This is everything it states.

• Work authorization: Ipsos states that it doesn't provide sponsorship to work in the US at this time, so you need your own authorization.

• Degree and class year: none stated for the internship. The page looks for proactive and motivated interns.

• GPA: none stated.

• Timing: interns join across summer vacation periods and occasionally throughout the year, so you need to be free for June 7 to August 13, 2027, with some flexibility.

• Graduates: Generation Ipsos is the route for graduates and runs on a rolling basis, separate from the internship.

Does Ipsos Require a Research or Statistics Major?

Ipsos doesn't say so. The page lists training in statistics, Microsoft Office and report writing, which suggests it expects to teach the methods, but it also lists exposure to quant, qual, neuroscience and data science projects. A research-methods or statistics course on your resume is useful evidence either way, and the page states no minimum.

What Skills Does Ipsos Look For, and How Do You Build Them?

Ipsos has no live US intern requisition to read, so these skills come from its early-careers page rather than a job description. Project work: interns scope project plans and schedules, script questionnaires, create data outputs and check the data accurately. Reporting and clients: they contribute to presentations and reports and have regular client contact on project matters. Training topics Ipsos names: report writing, client exposure, Microsoft Office, statistics, team working, communication, adapting to deadlines and problem-solving. That points to a mix of data care and communication.

Note: No skill chart yet: Ipsos had no student requisition on its job site on October 25, 2026, so there are no job descriptions to count. The skills above come from Ipsos's early-careers page.

For Ipsos applicants: Ipsos had 183 openings on its own job site on October 25, 2026, 14 of them in the US and none for students, so the posting to watch is the one its early-careers page promises.

Build These Skills Before You Apply

Each skill Ipsos names maps to a remote Externship you can finish before applications are reviewed in January.

These match the data handling and reporting side of the internship. None covers neuroscience-based research, so lean on coursework if that interests you.

What Is the Ipsos Application and Interview Process Like?

Ipsos publishes only the outline of its process. This is what its page states:

1. Watch the job site. The early-careers page sends you to Ipsos's careers page and its Oracle job site, where the requisition will appear.

2. Apply to the Market Research Internship Summer 2027. Submit the application when the requisition posts; the posting date isn't published.

3. Wait for review. Ipsos says it will begin reviewing applications in January 2027.

4. Interviews. Ipsos expects to begin contacting applicants for interviews starting in February 2027.

5. Start. The internship begins Monday, June 7, 2027 and ends Friday, August 13, 2027, with flexibility.

Ipsos doesn't publish interview formats or questions. Expect to talk about your research or statistics coursework, your comfort with data, and why market research interests you.

What the Community Says

We read three Reddit threads that mention Ipsos. One is a 2025 question about when large firms open internships with no replies, one is a 2019 comment about a New York summer program with no detail, and one covers a full-time role, so there are no quotes here.

How Do You Stand Out for an Ipsos Internship?

First, be early. Ipsos starts reviewing in January 2027 and hasn't said when the requisition posts, so a ready resume and a weekly check of the job site beat a last-minute application. Second, show you can work with data. The internship involves scripting questionnaires, creating data outputs and checking them accurately, so a project where you cleaned a dataset, ran a basic analysis or built a survey is direct evidence. Third, show you can communicate findings: interns contribute to reports and presentations and keep regular client contact, so a short written summary of a project you completed helps. Ipsos doesn't publish applicant counts, class size or an intern conversion rate, so we won't estimate them.

How much do Ipsos interns get paid?

Ipsos's summer 2027 internship starts Monday, June 7, 2027 and ends Friday, August 13, 2027, with flexibility. That's a 10-week window. The summer 2026 version ran one day later at each end, June 8 to August 14, 2026, according to Ipsos's page as archived in March 2026.

Projects can use quantitative, qualitative, neuroscience and data science methods, with structured training in statistics, report writing and Microsoft Office.

Is Generation Ipsos the same as the internship?

No. Generation Ipsos for Graduates is a structured program for graduates that runs on a rolling basis. The summer internship is a separate route for students with its own dates and timeline. Ipsos doesn't publish a conversion rate from one to the other.

Have your resume ready before January 2027, check Ipsos's job site for the Market Research Internship Summer 2027, and apply the day it appears. In the meantime, a remote Externship gives you a finished research or data project to talk about in your interviews.
