The five wholesale banking roles in New York, Atlanta and Chicago list a target hiring range of $49.50 an hour, and the four Rabo AgriFinance analyst roles list $24 to $28. The postings say "Summer" without a year, but the junior-year and spring 2028 graduation requirements point to summer 2027. In plain words: you apply during 2026, you intern in summer 2027, and there's no fixed deadline, so the earlier you apply the better.
What Is a Rabobank Internship?
A Rabobank internship in the US is a paid, 10-week summer placement, and it comes from two separate businesses. Rabobank's wholesale bank in North America, the corporate and investment bank serving food, agribusiness, commodities and energy clients, hires interns in New York, Atlanta and Chicago. Rabo AgriFinance, a Rabobank subsidiary that lends to farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses, hires financial analyst interns in California, Idaho, Iowa and Arkansas. Both post on rabobank.jobs. When Do Rabobank Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?
Rabobank's US summer postings arrived in three groups, all in the last eight weeks. The Rabo AgriFinance Financial Analyst Intern roles went up September 2 (Cedar Falls, Jonesboro, Twin Falls) and October 5 (Bakersfield or Fresno). Wholesale banking in Atlanta and Chicago followed on September 30, and the three New York roles on October 13, 14 and 15. The postings give no start date, so we can't compute the lead time exactly; for an early-June start, our assumption, they sit about 7.5 to 9 months ahead. We couldn't read prior-cycle posting dates because archived Rabobank pages wouldn't load, so the summer 2028 window is a projection from one observed cycle: expect postings from early fall 2027, with low confidence.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?
Requirements differ by posting. These come from the nine live postings, which we read on October 25, 2026.
• Class year: Value Chain Finance and Chicago want a current junior. Project Finance wants anticipated spring 2028 graduation, the same class. Atlanta says a bachelor's student entering their junior year. Client Support and the Rabo AgriFinance roles state no year.
• Major: finance or a related field for Value Chain Finance and Chicago; finance, accounting, economics, business or data analytics for Client Support; ag business, finance, accounting, economics or related for Rabo AgriFinance. Atlanta welcomes all majors.
• GPA: 3.5 or above for Project Finance; 3.0 on a 4.0 scale as a minimum for Rabo AgriFinance. The other postings ask for a strong academic record without a number.
• Work authorization: every posting requires legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis, and Rabobank says it can't sponsor a visa for these roles.
• Location: Atlanta and Chicago require you to work on-site throughout the internship.
Is It Juniors Only?
Not across the board. Value Chain Finance and Chicago ask for a current junior, and Project Finance's spring 2028 graduation is the same class, so those three target the same students. Atlanta's "entering your junior year" reads a class earlier, and the postings don't reconcile the two. Client Support and the four Rabo AgriFinance roles name no year at all, so an underclassman has more room there. Read each posting before you rule yourself out.
