Fujifilm has no US internship open right now, and its one documented program posted in January last year. On October 25, 2026, Fujifilm's U.S. job board listed 304 openings and none was an internship. The program we can document is the FUJIFILM Biotechnologies summer internship in Holly Springs, North Carolina: last year's req was posted on January 9, 2026 for an 11-week, fully on-site role from May 26 to August 7. In plain words, you apply around January 2027 and you intern in summer 2027. That's one cycle of evidence, so treat the timing as a guess. This guide covers Fujifilm's US group, which includes FUJIFILM Biotechnologies, and says so where nothing else turned up.

Externships are short, remote programs where you finish a real project for a real company, most commonly over 8 weeks at 5 to 10 hours a week, so one started in November can finish before January. The Amazon Fulfillment Center Operational Strategy & People Analytics Externship matches the lean and process work in Fujifilm's manufacturing internship, and the ARCeH Data Analytics, Health Outcomes Externship builds data review skills. What Is a Fujifilm Internship?

A Fujifilm internship in the US is, so far, a single program: the summer internship at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, North Carolina, part of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, the regional headquarters that says it operates 24 businesses in the Americas. Per a Wayback capture of Fujifilm's own job page, the Drug Product Manufacturing intern supported equipment and process data review, SOP review, 5S and lean projects, and audit readiness, then presented a final project to leadership. Fujifilm's US careers page lists no other internship program, and Fujifilm doesn't publish a class size, pay or conversion rate for it.

When Do Fujifilm Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?

Fujifilm's US internship timing rests on one cycle. Last year's FUJIFILM Biotechnologies req (2026-36666) was posted on January 9, 2026 for a May 26 start, about 4.5 months of lead, according to a Wayback capture of the req. Nothing is on the boards now. If the summer 2027 req follows the same shape, it posts around January 2027. A single cycle isn't a pattern, so check the board from December.

Not open. Fujifilm's U.S. job board listed 304 openings on October 25, 2026 and none was an internship; the separate Dimatix board listed 8, also none. Use this window to build proof of process and data skills.

November to December 2026

Prepare: a resume that lists any lab, plant or GMP-style experience, and a plan for housing, because last year's req said no relocation or housing stipend. Set a weekly reminder to check the board.

January 2027EXPECTED

Expected: the summer 2027 internship req posts. Last year's went up on January 9, 2026. This is one cycle of evidence, so it could come earlier or later.

February to May 2027EXPECTED

Expected: applications, interviews and offers before a late-May start. Fujifilm publishes no process or schedule for the internship.

Late May to early August 2027EXPECTED

Expected, from last year's 11-week program that ran May 26 to August 7: on-site work at Holly Springs, up to 40 hours a week, ending with a final project presented to leadership.

How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.

Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open

Last year's req stated no closing date and no deadline language, and we have only one cycle of evidence, so we can't say whether the window is days or months. A single manufacturing internship at one site probably has few seats, which is a reason to be ready before it posts. Keep a current resume, know your answer on lab or plant experience, and apply within days of the req appearing instead of waiting to see how long it stays open.

Which Fujifilm Internship Programs Should You Target?

Fujifilm's US internship picture is thin, and this table shows what is documented.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

Last year's req set the only eligibility line we can document, and the 2027 req may differ.

• Enrollment: currently enrolled in an associate's degree program with a life sciences focus, or in an engineering or scientific undergraduate or master's degree program.

• Software: proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Preferred: prior pharma, biotech or chemical industry experience, and hands-on technical experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

• Physical: the req listed climbing ladders, standing up to 60 minutes, sitting up to 240 minutes and moving objects up to 10 pounds.

• Work authorization and GPA: not stated.

Do You Need a Life Sciences Degree?

Not necessarily. Last year's req accepted an associate's student with a life sciences focus, but it also accepted engineering or science undergraduate and master's students, so chemical, mechanical and industrial engineering majors fit. The preferred line asks for pharma, biotech or chemical industry exposure and hands-on lab or plant work, which a co-op or a campus lab job can supply.

What Skills Does Fujifilm Look For, and How Do You Build Them?

One req is all Fujifilm has posted, so these skills come from it. Process and data review leads: equipment and process data review, data trending and performance metrics. Quality and documentation follows, with SOP review, audit and inspection readiness through document organization, and data verification. Lean manufacturing is named too, as 5S and lean projects, and the intern works with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Support and MSAT teams.

Note: Fujifilm has posted only one US intern requisition we could read, and no intern requisition was live on October 25, 2026, so there is no skill-frequency chart to draw. The skills above are quoted from that requisition, read in a Wayback capture of Fujifilm's own job page.

For Fujifilm applicants: Fujifilm's U.S. job board listed 304 openings on October 25, 2026 and no internship, so look to the wider pharmaceutical and biotech intern market for openings elsewhere, and keep a January alert for Holly Springs.

Build These Skills Before You Apply

Each row maps a skill from Fujifilm's last intern req to a remote Externship that produces a finished project.

Skill (from real JDs)JD evidenceExternship that builds it
Data review and trendingReq: "Equipment and process data review" and "Data trending and performance metrics"ARCeH Data Analytics, Health Outcomes
Lean and process improvementReq: "5S and lean manufacturing projects"Amazon Fulfillment Center Operational Strategy & People Analytics

None of these Externships is affiliated with Fujifilm. Most run about 8 weeks, so one started in November finishes before the expected January posting.

What Is the Fujifilm Application and Interview Process Like?

Fujifilm doesn't publish an intern process, so this covers only what last year's req shows.

1. Apply on iCIMS. The req's apply link went through Fujifilm's U.S. iCIMS board.

2. Interviews. Fujifilm publishes no interview format for the internship, and we found no first-hand account of it. Ask the recruiter.

3. On-site work. The role is 100% on site, up to 40 hours a week, under the direct supervision of a manager.

4. Final project. Interns prepare and present a project summarizing findings and recommendations to leadership.

What Students on Reddit Say

We found no first-hand Reddit accounts of Fujifilm's US internships. Searches return camera-gear threads, and the one biotech thread we read is about full-time culture at Holly Springs, so we left the cards out.

How Do You Stand Out for a Fujifilm Internship?

First, show hands-on exposure. Last year's req preferred pharma, biotech or chemical industry experience and lab or manufacturing work, so a plant co-op, a lab job or a lean project helps. Second, plan around Holly Springs: the role was fully on site with no relocation or housing stipend. Third, practice explaining data you reviewed and what you recommended, since the intern presents a final project to leadership. Fujifilm doesn't publish applicant counts or a conversion rate.

FAQ

Can I still apply for a summer 2026 Fujifilm internship?

No. The FUJIFILM Biotechnologies summer 2026 internship ran from May 26 to August 7, 2026, and its req is closed. Fujifilm's U.S. job board listed 304 openings on October 25, 2026 and no internship, so the next chance is the summer 2027 req, expected around January 2027.

Does Fujifilm offer internships in the US?

Yes, one that we can document: the summer internship at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Sonosite's careers page mentions an internship program without dates. We found no other intern requisition on Fujifilm's group board or the Dimatix board, so this guide doesn't invent other programs.

When will Fujifilm post summer 2027 internships?

Probably around January 2027, though that rests on one cycle. Last year's FUJIFILM Biotechnologies req was posted on January 9, 2026 for a May 26 start, about 4.5 months ahead. Fujifilm publishes no calendar, so check the U.S. job board weekly from December.

How much does a Fujifilm internship pay?

Fujifilm didn't publish pay in last year's req, and its pages list no rate, so we don't state one. The req did say the internship is 100% on site, up to 40 hours a week, and that no relocation or housing stipend is provided. Ask the recruiter about pay at the interview stage.

Who qualifies for the Fujifilm internship?

Last year's req asked for students currently enrolled in an associate's program with a life sciences focus, or an engineering or scientific undergraduate or master's program, plus proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. It preferred pharma, biotech or chemical experience. Check the 2027 req, since criteria can change.

Is the Fujifilm internship remote?

No. Last year's req described the internship as 100% on site in Holly Springs, North Carolina, for up to 40 hours a week. It listed physical requirements such as standing up to 60 minutes and climbing ladders, and it said housing and relocation costs fall to the intern.

Does Fujifilm have marketing, finance or software internships?

We found none. Fujifilm's U.S. job board listed 304 openings on October 25, 2026 with no intern-titled roles, and the only documented program is in biopharma manufacturing. Engineering, science and operations students are the best fit. Other students should watch the board for entry-level roles rather than internships.

Is this about Fujifilm cameras?

Partly. FUJIFILM Holdings America includes the camera business, but the internship we can document is in biopharma manufacturing at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies. Searches for Fujifilm internships on Reddit mostly return camera-gear threads, which aren't about jobs, so rely on the company's own iCIMS board for postings.

Fujifilm's only documented internship posts in January, so use the weeks before it for preparation. A remote Externship can give you a finished process or data project to bring to the Holly Springs interview.
