TruBridge Healthcare Data Analytics Externship
What if the real drivers of health have nothing to do with doctors or medicine? Define a research question, analyze public data with Python, and share your insights using AI. A résumé-popping mix of health, data, and strategy.
In this externship with TruBridge—a tech-forward healthcare company helping hospitals turn data into smarter decisions—you’ll dig into the real-world impact of factors like income, education, housing, and access to care.
Using public datasets, you’ll define your own research question, clean and analyze data in Python (Google Colab), and visualize insights with Power BI, Gamma.app, and AI tools like ChatGPT. It’s hands-on, high-impact work that builds real skills in data, storytelling, and public health.
Project Output
- Get Familiar with the Data: Learn the fundamentals of data analytics and its applications in healthcare. Use AI tools to refine research questions and explore public datasets.
- Data Collection & Pre-processing: Gather infection-related data from public sources, clean and structure it for analysis, and address missing values.
- Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Perform statistical and correlational analyses to identify patterns and trends in infection rates. Create visual representations of findings.
