Are you ready to shape the future of data-driven storytelling?

In this 6-week experience, externs will explore how data storytelling, design, and AI come together to solve real business challenges. You'll work with clean, curated datasets to uncover insights and create clear, compelling visual stories. Using Canva’s Magic Studio and Flourish, they’ll transform complex data into interactive presentations that help organizations make better decisions.

By the end of the program, externs will publish a professional-grade Canva template and pitch their solution at the Canva AI Design Challenge Showcase building portfolio-ready skills in design, strategy, and business communication.

Project Output

Design and create a professional-grade Canva demo asset that Enterprise Teams at Canva will use as Sales & Marketing collateral to demonstrate the power of Canva against other data visualization tools in the growing competitive landscape of tools. Top projects will be showcased publicly, showing employers your design, storytelling, and data capabilities.
