Wasserman, the sports, music and culture marketing agency that now goes by THE·TEAM, runs three internship cohorts a year, so the next open door for a reader today is spring 2027, not summer. On its careers page the agency lists internships for "Spring, Summer and Fall sessions." As of 17 October 2026 its Workday board listed 11 US internship requisitions, posted between 30 September and 16 October, for a term running from late January to 30 April 2027. In the US postings that state pay, the internships are unpaid and need proof of eligibility for college credit. Here's the cycle in plain words: you apply now for spring 2027, and the summer 2027 postings are expected around February 2027.

Ten US spring 2027 internships are open now, mostly unpaid and for credit. Summer 2027 is expected around February to early March 2027.

Wasserman's roles lean on brand partnerships, talent marketing, social media and reporting, so a finished project is a strong way to show your fit while the roles are open. Externships are short, remote programs where you complete a real project for a real company, most commonly over 8 weeks. The Beats by Dre Creative Advertising Strategy Externship fits talent and brand marketing, and the Pinterest Gen Z Consumer Behavior Externship fits social and creator work. What Is a Wasserman Internship?

A Wasserman internship is a student role at the global sports, music and culture marketing company that rebranded as THE·TEAM in 2026. The careers page describes the program as hands-on work for current undergraduate and graduate students, supporting projects within their assigned division: Brands and Properties, Music Talent Representation, or Sports and Media Talent Representation. The company says it has 4000+ employees in 28 countries and 70+ cities. In spring 2027 the roles range from Football and Team Sports Operations to Talent Strategy, Creators, MUSIC·TEAM, Social Impact, Learning & Development and Graphic Design. Search for "Wasserman" as well as "THE·TEAM", because the Workday site is still named Wasserman Careers.

When Do Wasserman Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?

Wasserman runs spring, summer and fall sessions, each posted separately about 3 to 4 months before it starts. The spring 2027 roles went up between 30 September and 16 October 2026 for a late-January start. For summer, three summer 2026 requisitions (Football, Baseball and Talent Marketing) were already on the careers page in the Internet Archive's earliest 2026 capture, dated 9 March 2026, so the summer wave went up on or before that date. Fall 2026 requisitions were on the page by 9 July 2026. Summer 2027 and fall 2027 are projections from one prior cycle, so treat them as expected, not confirmed.

Applications for spring 2027 are open: 11 US internships, posted 30 September to 16 October. Line up proof of college-credit eligibility before you interview, because most postings require it.

Sunday 1 November 2026HARD DEADLINE

The MUSIC·TEAM spring 2027 internship closes at 11:59pm PST. It's the only US posting we read that prints a close date; check each other posting for its own timing.

Late January to 30 April 2027

The spring 2027 term runs from late January to 30 April, part time at about 15 to 20 hours a week. MUSIC·TEAM is a 14-week program.

~February to early March 2027EXPECTED

Applications for summer 2027 are expected. Last cycle's summer postings were on the page by 9 March 2026. Set a Workday job alert and check the careers page each week from early February.

~June to July 2027EXPECTED

Applications for fall 2027 are expected, but that's low confidence: last year's fall postings were on the page by 9 July 2026, and earlier captures show too little to narrow it.

How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.

Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open

Wasserman's mode is mixed. MUSIC·TEAM has a hard deadline of 1 November 2026. The other US postings print no close date, but the agency has closed every earlier cohort: the fall 2026 internship postings are already gone from its board, and a closed requisition simply disappears. The spring postings are also single-seat roles in specific divisions. Credit paperwork is the other clock, because interviewees are asked for written proof of eligibility and are disqualified if they can't provide it. Apply early and start the credit process with your school at the same time.

Which Wasserman Internship Programs Should You Target?

Wasserman posts one requisition per division or team, and the spring 2027 roles fall into four groups. The titles below are the ones posted.

GroupSpring 2027 rolesLocationKey skills

Roles are on the THE·TEAM careers page and the Workday board. Toronto internships are listed separately and are paid; they aren't covered here. THE·TEAM's NEXT GEN·TEAM also runs paid student brand-ambassador programs on campuses, which aren't agency internships.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

THE·TEAM's careers page and the spring 2027 postings set these rules:

• Enrollment: US and Canada applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program. Undergraduates need to have completed their sophomore year.

• MUSIC·TEAM: rising juniors and seniors at an accredited college or university.

• College credit: most US postings require eligibility for college credit and ask for written proof when you move forward. One says the internship is for college credit only.

• Field of study: postings prefer sports-related fields, marketing, communications, sports management or design, depending on the role.

• Work model and authorization: some roles are in the office one to two days a week and some are remote. GPA and work authorization aren't stated in the US postings we read.

Do You Have to Earn College Credit?

For most US spring 2027 postings, yes. The Team Sports Operations posting says interviewees must submit proof of eligibility for academic credit and will be disqualified if they can't, and the Football posting says the internship is for college credit only. Three postings didn't state pay in the text we read, so confirm credit and pay for your specific role before you accept.

What Skills Does Wasserman Look For, and How Do You Build Them?

The four postings we read in full ask for working tools plus judgment. Tools: Team Sports Operations wants "exceptional" Excel and PowerPoint and Football wants advanced Microsoft Office; the Graphic Design role needs Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects, which are also a plus for Football. Client work: duties include social monitoring, prospecting brand partners, drafting marketing materials, filing talent tax forms, expense reports and contract summaries. Judgment: confidentiality and discretion, persuasion, relationship building and flexibility with nights and weekends.

Note: We haven't built a skills chart for Wasserman: we read four spring 2027 postings in full (Football, Team Sports Operations, Graphic Design and MUSIC·TEAM), which is too few to show skill frequencies honestly. The other six postings were checked only for pay and dates.

Build These Skills Before You Apply

Each skill below comes from a spring 2027 Wasserman posting and maps to a remote Externship you can finish while the roles are open.

A finished project gives you something concrete to describe in an interview, and it shows initiative while you sort out the credit paperwork.

What Is the Wasserman Application and Interview Process Like?

THE·TEAM doesn't publish an interview format. Here's what the careers page and postings show:

1. Pick your division and role. Browse the careers page under "Internships & Work Experience" or go straight to the Workday board. Titles are division specific.

2. Apply on Workday. Each posting has its own application. Check the location block, because several postings are shared across 50+ offices.

3. Prepare proof of credit eligibility. If you move forward, written proof of eligibility for academic credit is requested during interviews.

4. Interview and offer. The number of rounds and the format aren't published.

Start your school's credit paperwork while you apply, since an unprepared registrar can cost you the role.

What Students on Reddit Say

We read three Reddit threads that mention Wasserman, and none is a first-hand account of the internship, so we've left out the cards rather than pad the section. They are career-advice posts about agencies in general.

How Do You Stand Out for a Wasserman Internship?

Three moves. First, pick the division and show you understand its work. A Football applicant who can talk about athlete endorsements and a brand target list stands out from a general sports fan. Second, show the tools. Operations roles expect strong Excel and PowerPoint, and the creative role asks for a portfolio. Third, be ready for the credit conversation, because it's a gate. Wasserman doesn't publish an applicant count or a conversion rate, so ask your supervisor which full-time paths exist for interns. The agency's three cohorts a year also mean you can try again in the next session if the first doesn't work out.

FAQ

Can I still apply for a summer 2026 Wasserman internship?

No. Wasserman's summer 2026 internships, which included Football, Baseball and Talent Marketing, are no longer on its board. What's open now is spring 2027, with 11 US roles posted from 30 September to 16 October 2026. Summer 2027 is expected around February to early March 2027.

Is Wasserman the same as THE·TEAM?

Yes. Wasserman rebranded as THE·TEAM in 2026, and its careers page and Workday board carry the new name. The Workday site is still called Wasserman Careers. It's a different company from Endeavor, so don't mix up the two companies' internship programs.

When do Wasserman internship applications open?

Cohort by cohort. Spring 2027 is open now. Summer 2027 is expected around February to early March 2027, because last year's summer postings were on the careers page by 9 March 2026. Fall 2027 is expected around June to July 2027, with low confidence.

Are Wasserman internships paid?

In the US spring 2027 postings that state pay, no. Six say unpaid and one says college credit only, and all require proof of credit eligibility. Three postings don't state pay. Toronto internships are paid. A separate NEXT GEN·TEAM student program pays a stipend.

Who can apply for a Wasserman internship?

In the US and Canada, students currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program, with undergraduates having completed their sophomore year. The MUSIC·TEAM internship wants rising juniors and seniors. Most postings also require eligibility for college credit and ask for proof.

How long is a Wasserman internship?

The spring 2027 term runs from late January to 30 April 2027, at about 15 to 20 hours a week on most postings. MUSIC·TEAM is part time and in person for 14 weeks. Wasserman also runs summer and fall sessions, so an internship is one semester, not a year.

Which Wasserman divisions hire interns?

The program covers three divisions: Brands and Properties, Music Talent Representation, and Sports and Media Talent Representation. Spring 2027 roles include Football, Team Sports Operations, Client Services and Marketing for the NFL, Talent Strategy, Creators, MUSIC·TEAM, Social Impact, Learning and Development, and Graphic Design.

Do Wasserman interns get full-time offers?

Wasserman doesn't publish a conversion rate or class size. The agency says interns support projects within their assigned division and learn from its employees. Treat the internship as a way to build relationships, and ask your supervisor which full-time roles interns have moved into.

Wasserman's spring 2027 internships are open now, and the summer 2027 window is expected around February. Apply this week, and if you want a project to show for it, a remote Externship takes about 5 to 10 hours a week.
