You work on the sales floor alongside store staff, handling customer service, product merchandising and daily operations, and you serve as Manager on Duty during shifts. About 20% of your time goes to an end-of-term project in your own store, such as app downloads, employee morale or brand awareness, which you present to store and corporate leaders. The internship is the front door to UNIQLO's full-time management track: the posting says top performers will be considered for the UMC program. When Do Uniqlo Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?

UNIQLO's calendar is short. The summer 2027 internship went up in September 2026, about 8 months before the May 31, 2027 start (the careers site shows it posted September 25, 2026; its Workday record carries a start date of August 31, 2026), and the req says UNIQLO would start interviewing around early September. We couldn't find official posting dates for the previous cycle: the careers site is new, and web archives don't hold the current Workday site. One thing to watch: UNIQLO's early-careers page still says internship applications will open in fall 2026, but the req has been live for weeks. The req is the authority.
