Last updated: October 2026
UFC posts its interns in short cohort windows on its own TeamWork Online board, and right now there are none: as of 17 October 2026 the board lists 17 jobs and not one is an internship. Archived captures of that board show 21 intern postings at once in February 2026 (the summer cohort) and 14 in July 2025 (the fall cohort), and each batch was gone again within a few months.
In plain words, you can't apply a year ahead; you have to catch the posting. The next summer cohort is expected to appear between mid-January and February 2027, and a fall cohort around June to July 2027. UFC is part of TKO Group Holdings but lists its internships on its own board, not on a parent's.

Externships are short, remote programs where you finish a real project for a real company, most commonly over 8 weeks, so you can complete one before UFC's expected January to February postings. The Pinterest Gen Z Consumer Behavior Externship builds the fan-and-content thinking behind digital media and social roles, and the Beats by Dre Creative Advertising Strategy Externship builds the campaign work that partnership and marketing teams do. What Is a UFC Internship?
A UFC internship is a department-level placement with the mixed martial arts promotion, advertised on its TeamWork Online board as "Intern - [Department] Intern, UFC". In its own postings UFC describes itself as the world's premier MMA organization, with more than 700 million fans, more than 40 live events a year and headquarters in Las Vegas.
The February 2026 board listed 21 intern departments, from Live Production and Digital Media to Sports Science and Finance & Accounting. UFC belongs to TKO Group Holdings, which also owns WWE, but UFC hires these interns on its own board: TKO's Workday board had 73 openings and no interns on 17 October 2026. UFC's own pages that we could read don't publish intern pay, dates or eligibility, so this page doesn't state them.

When Do UFC Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?
UFC's own TeamWork board, as archived by the Wayback Machine, shows two intern cohorts. The fall 2025 batch of 14 postings (titles ending "Intern Fall 2025") was on the board in captures of 16 and 23 July 2025, absent on 11 June and absent again on 21 August 2025. The summer 2026 batch of 21 postings was absent on 15 January 2026, present on 18 February and gone by 9 April.
Captures are sparse, so these are bounds rather than exact open and close dates, and only one summer cycle is documented. Read the January to February 2027 estimate as low-to-medium confidence. Spring cohorts aren't proven by any capture of UFC's own board, so this page doesn't promise one.
Applications aren't open: UFC's board lists 17 jobs and none is an internship, and TKO's Workday board has 73 openings and none either. This is the window to pick a department and build proof.
Create your TeamWork Online profile, turn on a UFC job alert and choose one of the 21 departments from the last summer batch. Build a portfolio, reel or analysis that fits it.
Summer 2027 intern postings are expected, based on the summer 2026 batch appearing between 15 January and 18 February 2026. Check the board weekly and apply in the first week.
A fall 2027 batch is expected, based on the fall 2025 batch being on the board by 16 July 2025 and absent on 11 June 2025. This is the second door if you miss the summer postings.
Summer interns would work the summer 2027 events calendar in Las Vegas and other UFC offices. UFC doesn't publish program dates, class size or a conversion rate.
How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.
Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open
UFC publishes no deadline for interns, and its board doesn't keep closed postings, so the only evidence is archived captures. Those show a batch of 21 postings present on 18 February 2026 and gone by 9 April, and a batch of 14 present in mid-July 2025 and gone by 21 August. That's a short window, not a rolling one.
The 21 postings are per department, so a department you want can disappear on its own schedule. Decide on your department before January, set the TeamWork alert, and apply the week a posting appears.
Which UFC Internship Programs Should You Target?
UFC posts one intern role per department. These groups come from the intern titles on UFC's own board in the February 2026 and July 2025 captures; any cohort's list will differ.
| Track | Focus | Duration | Key details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Production | Live Production, Originals Production, Spanish Production | Not published | Titles in the February 2026 and July 2025 captures |
| Digital media and social | Digital Media / YouTube, Español Digital Media, Website & Digital Media, Social Media | Not published | Social Media appeared in the fall 2025 batch |
| Partnerships and marketing | Global Partnerships, Consumer Products Marketing, Fight Pass | Not published | Consumer Products Marketing appeared in both batches |
| Communications and public affairs | Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Governmental & Regulatory Affairs | Not published | Government Relations was the fall 2025 title |
| Sports science and athlete support | Sports Science, Athlete Development, Athlete Medical, Performance Nutrition, Anti-Doping Compliance, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu | Not published | Strength & Conditioning appeared in fall 2025 |
| Business functions | Finance & Accounting, People & Culture, Event Development | Not published | Human Resources was the fall 2025 title |
Live listings appear on UFC's TeamWork Online board.
What Are the Eligibility Requirements?
UFC's own pages that we could read don't state intern eligibility, because no intern posting is live and the archived listings kept only their titles. What we can say:
• Class year and degree: not published on UFC's own pages we could read. Read the requirements on the posting when it appears.
• Work authorization: not stated on any UFC page we could read.
• GPA: not stated.
• Location: UFC's headquarters are in Las Vegas and 14 of the 17 jobs on its board today are there; the archived intern listings don't state a location.
• How to apply: UFC's live postings say you must complete the application on the follow-up screen after you press Apply.

Why Does This Page Skip UFC's Pay and Eligibility Rules?
Because UFC doesn't keep them where we can check them. The postings come and go within weeks, the archived copies preserved titles rather than descriptions, and the numbers that circulate on job-board mirrors and reposts aren't on UFC's own pages. We'd rather leave a row blank than print a rate or a class-year rule that may belong to another TKO brand. When a posting goes live, its description is the source of truth.
What Skills Does UFC Look For, and How Do You Build Them?
UFC doesn't publish an intern skills list that we could read, so we won't invent one. What the board does show is where the work is: the intern titles cluster in production and digital media, partnerships and marketing, communications, sports science and a few business functions. For any of them, the practical signal is evidence of finished work in that area, such as a short video edit, a social content plan, a partnership pitch or a spreadsheet model.
Note: UFC has no live intern posting and the archived listings preserved only titles, so there are no job descriptions to count skills from. We left the skill chart out rather than estimate one.
How Is Demand for Communications Interns Moving Right Now?
Communications intern postings · Sep vs Aug 2026
vs 1,847 in August
For UFC applicants: Communications intern hiring picked up sharply in September; apply within the first week a role posts, while the most seats are open.

Build These Skills Before You Apply
UFC's intern titles map to skills that a remote Externship can build. Each row pairs an intern title from UFC's board with a project you can finish before the postings return.
| Skill (from real JDs) | JD evidence | Externship that builds it |
|---|---|---|
| Social and digital content | Digital Media / YouTube, Español Digital Media and Website & Digital Media intern titles (February 2026 board capture) | Pinterest Gen Z Consumer Behavior Externship |
| Campaign and partnership strategy | Global Partnerships and Consumer Products Marketing intern titles (February 2026 board capture) | Beats by Dre Creative Advertising Strategy Externship |
| Merchandise and e-commerce analysis | Consumer Products Marketing intern title (both archived batches) | Breaking Games E-Commerce Data Analysis & Strategy Externship |
| Financial analysis | Finance & Accounting intern title (both archived batches) | Attronica Financial Planning & Analysis and Private Company Valuation Externship |
| Performance data analysis (nearest open fit) | Sports Science and Athlete Development intern titles (February 2026 board capture) | TruBridge Healthcare Data Analytics Externship |
A finished project gives you something specific to say about a department, which matters when UFC posts 21 roles at once.
What Is the UFC Application and Interview Process Like?
UFC doesn't publish its intern process on pages we could read, so this is what its board and live postings make clear:
1. Watch the board. Interns have been posted only on UFC's TeamWork Online board, one posting per department.
2. Pick a department and prepare material for it before the window, such as a portfolio, reel or analysis.
3. Apply on the posting, then finish the application on the follow-up screen; UFC's live postings say it must be completed there.
4. Interview. The stages and timing aren't published; expect department-specific questions.
TKO's Workday board is for corporate and other-brand roles; it had no internships on 17 October 2026.
What Students on Reddit Say
We found no first-hand UFC internship accounts on Reddit. The UFC-related results were reposts of job postings or general advice on working in MMA, so we left the cards out rather than pad the section.
How Do You Stand Out for a UFC Internship?
Three moves.
First, be ready before the batch appears. UFC posts around 21 departments at once and the batch disappears within weeks, so have your resume, portfolio and TeamWork alert set by the end of 2026.
Second, aim at one department. Production wants clips or edits, digital media wants content you've published, partnerships wants a pitch, and finance wants a model. Show one finished piece instead of general fandom.
Third, keep a fall backup. The fall 2025 batch was on the board in July 2025, so a missed summer posting isn't the end of the cycle. UFC doesn't publish class size or a conversion rate, so treat the internship as experience and a network.

FAQ
Can I still apply for a summer 2026 UFC internship?
No. The summer 2026 batch of 21 postings was on UFC's board in February 2026 and gone by early April, and as of 17 October 2026 the board lists no internships at all. The next summer batch is expected between mid-January and February 2027.
Is UFC hiring interns right now?
No. On 17 October 2026 UFC's TeamWork Online board listed 17 jobs and none was an internship, and TKO's Workday board listed 73 openings with no interns. We confirmed it against a live posting and an invented posting ID, which returned a not-found page.
When does UFC post summer internships?
Archived captures of UFC's board show the summer 2026 batch absent on 15 January 2026, present on 18 February and gone by 9 April. That makes mid-January to February 2027 the expected window for summer 2027, with low-to-medium confidence because only one summer cycle is documented.
Does UFC hire interns itself or through TKO or Endeavor?
UFC lists its interns on its own TeamWork Online board, and ufc.com/careers leads there. UFC is part of TKO Group Holdings, but TKO's Workday board had no internships on 17 October 2026. Endeavor is a separate company with its own guide on Extern.
Which departments hire UFC interns?
The February 2026 board listed 21, including Live Production, Digital Media / YouTube, Global Partnerships, Consumer Products Marketing, Corporate Communications, Sports Science, Performance Nutrition and Finance & Accounting. The fall 2025 batch added Social Media, Government Relations and Strength & Conditioning. Each is a separate posting.
Are UFC internships paid?
UFC's own pages that we could read don't say. No intern posting is live and the archived listings kept only their titles. Pay figures on job-board mirrors aren't on UFC's own pages, so we don't repeat them. Check the pay line on the posting when it goes live.
Where are UFC internships based?
UFC's headquarters are in Las Vegas, and 14 of the 17 jobs on its board on 17 October 2026 are there, with others in New York and China. The archived intern listings don't state a location, so confirm it on each posting before you apply.
Is there a fall UFC internship?
There was in 2025. UFC's board showed 14 intern postings titled with Fall 2025 in captures from 16 and 23 July 2025 and none by 21 August. A fall 2027 batch is expected around June to July 2027, so it's a second chance if you miss the summer postings.
UFC's next summer postings are expected within a few months and won't stay up long. Use the time well: a remote Externship gives you a finished project to put next to your department choice.
