What Is a Topgolf Internship?

A Topgolf internship is a student role at one of Topgolf's entertainment venues, or in a few cases at its Dallas Venue Support Center. The documented program is the Topgolf Coach internship, titled variously Golf Instructor Summer Intern or Paid Summer Intern Golf Instructor. Interns assist and teach the Summer Academy, Topgolf's flagship junior program, repair loaner clubs, sell Topgolf Coach lessons, train new associates and maintain student records in a CRM tool. What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

The 2026 Topgolf Coach postings set specific requirements:

• Program: enrolled in a Professional Golf Management (PGM) program.

• Golf background: a previous competitive golf participant, with golf-industry experience in the Colony posting.

• Physical and schedule: able to lift 50 pounds, and available evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Hours: part time at 24 hours a week in the posting data, though another field on the same pages says 40.

• Corporate (2024): the Employee Relations intern asked for someone pursuing or having completed a BS in Human Resources Management, Hospitality or a similar field.

• GPA and work authorization: not stated in the postings we read.

Can You Apply Without Being in a PGM Program?

Not to the Topgolf Coach internship: PGM enrollment is in the 2026 postings we read. The 2024 Greenville capture lists no eligibility, but the program stayed the same in 2026. If you're not in a PGM program, Topgolf's venue jobs are regular roles on the same board, and a corporate intern posting in Dallas could return, although we found none in 2025 or 2026.
