Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open

TD is a hard-deadline employer, not a rolling one. Every posting carries an end date set by TD, and postings created across two weeks of September converged on the same day, 2 October, which points to a planned cutoff rather than a job-board auto-expiry. What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

TD's requirements differ by door, and the work-authorization line is the one that screens out the most business-line applicants:

• Class year: business lines want anticipated graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, i.e. rising seniors in summer 2027. GTS prefers May 2028 graduates; two GTS roles also accept December 2027.

• Degree: business lines ask for a business-related degree. GTS asks for Computer Science or a related field (Cyber Security for the cyber role, Data Analytics for data engineering).

• GPA: the GTS and spring co-op postings list a 3.2 GPA or higher as preferred. The business-line postings state no GPA.

• Work authorization: business-line postings say you must be work authorized in the US on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship. The GTS, Audit and MBA postings don't address it either way.

• Work model: in person, in office 4 days a week (GTS says up to 4).

• MBA (GLP): pursuing a graduate degree, with roughly five or more years of related experience.

Is the 3.2 GPA a Hard Cutoff?

No, at least not on paper. TD lists 3.2 as preferred on the GTS and co-op postings, not required, and the business-line postings carry no GPA line at all. The firmer filters are the graduation window and, for business lines, permanent work authorization.

Preferred still counts when a wave is open for a month. If you're under 3.2 for a GTS role, make sure the resume carries a project TD names, such as an AI or machine learning build for Software Engineer or Power BI work for Business Management Analyst.

TD's postings are short on tech stacks and long on working habits. What Is the TD Bank Application and Interview Process Like?

TD publishes little about its interview loop, so the steps below combine its own posting language with one first-hand US report:

1. Apply on Workday. One application per requisition. Commercial Banking posts a separate req per city, so pick the office you can attend 4 days a week.

2. Screening. TD's postings say it contacts candidates of interest and tries to tell every applicant the outcome by email or phone.

3. First-round video interview. A US applicant to the GTS software internship (then called Platforms & Technology) reported a 30-minute video interview, mostly behavioral, with no live coding in round one.
