SentinelOne's summer 2026 US interns started on 8 June, and the Product Management Intern role for that cohort wasn't listed until 28 April, about six weeks earlier. That's the key fact about a SentinelOne internship: it's a late-window program. On 3 October 2026 the company's Greenhouse board listed 255 open jobs, three of them internships, and all three were outside the US (two in Singapore, one in Amsterdam). The US cohort is real: SentinelOne's own July 2026 intern post profiles interns in Colorado and Chicago working on partner tooling and threat hunting. In plain words: applications for summer 2027 are expected between December 2026 and May 2027, most likely March to May 2027, so fall 2026 is for preparation, not applications.

A SentinelOne internship is a paid, roughly 10-week summer placement in SentinelOne's US cohort, mostly remote, across product management, AI/ML engineering, data analytics, solutions engineering and threat hunting. SentinelOne, the AI security company headquartered in Mountain View, California and listed on the NYSE under the symbol S, describes it as a global internship program that trains cybersecurity talent from threat intelligence to engineering. The summer 2026 product posting promised 1:1 mentorship, networking with leaders and other interns, and career sessions. Interns own real work: the 2026 class built partner training tools, ran their own threat-hunting cadences and automated marketing workflows.
When Do SentinelOne Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?
SentinelOne hires its US summer class late. For summer 2026, the AI/ML engineering role was first listed in late March, the Product Management Intern on 28 April and an AI/ML Engineer Intern in early May, all for a cohort that started 8 June. That's a lead time of roughly one to two and a half months. The earliest US summer role we found was a data analytics intern first listed on 12 December 2023 for summer 2024. So the window for summer 2027 is expected to run from about December 2026 to May 2027, with most US roles in March to May 2027.
Applications for summer 2027 aren't open in the US. On 3 October the three live SentinelOne internships were in Singapore and Amsterdam. Use these months to build proof in detection and response or product work.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

• Degree: currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in business, computer science, cybersecurity or a related field.
• Graduation window: the 2026 posting wanted graduation between December 2026 and June 2027. For summer 2027, expect roughly December 2027 to June 2028 (our projection).
• Skills: basic understanding of software development and Agile, plus genuine interest in product management and cybersecurity (PM track).
• GPA and sponsorship: neither is stated in the posting text we read. Confirm work authorization with the recruiter before you apply.
Do You Have to Be a Rising Senior?
For the product track, effectively yes. A graduation window that runs from the December after the internship to the following June means rising seniors and final-year master's students. The live Singapore solutions engineering posting asks for the same thing (expected graduation in 2026 or 2027), which suggests it's a company-wide habit. A sophomore can still apply where a posting doesn't state a window, but expect that to be the exception.

What Is the SentinelOne Application and Interview Process Like?

If you hear nothing for a while, that's not unusual: applicants at India campus drives in September 2026 reported waiting more than a week after their final round.

Reddit has no first-hand thread from a US SentinelOne intern; the only recent first-hand posts come from India campus drives, which run on their own calendar. The best US account is SentinelOne's own intern-written post from July 2026.
