Aramco Americas, the US arm of Saudi Aramco, takes summer 2027 applications until Thursday 5 November 2026. Its Summer Student Program page lists 17 undergraduate tracks, 14 in Houston plus one each in Boston, Detroit and Washington, DC, all on one JazzHR job board. You need a 3.0 GPA, rising sophomore, junior or senior status and US work authorization by the start date. In plain words: you apply by 5 November 2026, you intern in summer 2027. This guide covers the US program run by Aramco Americas Company, based in Houston. Aramco's programs for Saudi nationals are separate and outside it.

What Is a Saudi Aramco Internship?
A Saudi Aramco internship in the US is the Aramco Summer Student Program, run by Aramco Americas Company in Houston, Texas. It posts one track per team, from Aramco Trading Americas, the commodity trading arm set up in January 2023, and Finance to R&D research centers in Houston, Boston and Detroit. Postings list "typical activities" such as SAP deal entry for trade analysts, benefit-plan statement support for accountants and AI model work for IT and R&D interns. Each is eligible for internship course credit. Graduate students apply to separate graduate internships.

When Do Saudi Aramco Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?
Aramco Americas states one date: the Summer Student Program page says the application deadline is 5 November 2026. It doesn't publish an open date, and we couldn't establish when the 2027 postings went live. The same page showed 15 November 2024 for summer 2025 and 31 October 2025 for summer 2026 in archived copies, so the deadline has stayed within about two weeks of the start of November for three cycles.
The reqs give no start date, but the Law posting describes a 12-week internship from late May, so a deadline in early November is about 6.5 to 7 months ahead. We expect the summer 2028 deadline between late October and mid November 2027.
All 17 undergraduate tracks are open. Choose the tracks that fit your major and apply through each track's link before the deadline.

How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.
Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open
This is a hard deadline. The program page states one application deadline, 5 November 2026, and last year's version of the page switched to "no longer accepting applications" once its date passed. With no rolling window, the 17 tracks stop taking applications for everyone at the same time.
Each track is its own posting, so applying to two or three that fit takes two or three forms. The page doesn't say whether multiple applications are limited. Apply this week rather than on the last day, since the form asks for your classification, GPA and a resume.
Which Saudi Aramco Internship Programs Should You Target?
The undergraduate program is a set of team-specific tracks, mostly in Houston. Here's what the job board listed on 25 October 2026.
| Track | Focus | Location | Key skills |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aramco Trading Americas | Trade Analyst Intern in Crude Oil Trading: SAP deal entry, daily position reporting, P&L reconciliation | Houston | Economics, finance, SAP, Excel |
| Finance, Aramco Ventures, Internal Audit, Strategy | Controller's and Treasurer's work; venture analysis and valuation; audit fieldwork; budget reporting | Houston | Accounting, financial modeling, data analysis |
| Information Technology, Transformation Office, Technical Services | AI/ML engineering intern; reporting and process documentation; engineering technology scouting | Houston | Python, Microsoft Office, mechanical or chemical engineering |

| HR, Marketing, Procurement, Public Affairs, Fuels Affiliate Management, Government/Corporate Affairs | Recruitment support, crude oil marketing operations, procurement projects, volunteering coordination, downstream reporting | Houston; Washington, DC for Government/Corporate Affairs | Communication, business analytics, supply chain |
The program page links every track. Six graduate internships (venture capital in Palo Alto, R&D in Houston and Novi, and law in Houston) are separate postings for graduate students and aren't open to undergraduates.
What Are the Eligibility Requirements?
The program page lists these participation criteria:
• Degree: earning a degree with relevant coursework or a previous internship related to the opportunity.
• Class year: currently a rising sophomore, junior or senior who hasn't graduated from an undergraduate university before August 2027.
• Work authorization: authorized to work in the US, or able to obtain authorization before the internship starts.
• Prior participation: you may take part in a maximum of two summers.
• GPA: at least 3.0. This line wasn't on the 2025 or 2026 versions of the page we checked in archived copies.
• Application form: asks your degree, anticipated graduation date, summer 2027 classification (sophomore, junior or senior) and current GPA.

Can International Students Apply?
The page asks for US work authorization now or by the start date, and doesn't mention visa sponsorship, so ask the recruiter before you apply. It doesn't say whether CPT or OPT counts. Aramco Americas isn't the only route: Saudi Aramco runs separate programs for Saudi nationals that this guide doesn't cover.
What Skills Does Saudi Aramco Look For, and How Do You Build Them?
The postings differ by team. Trade analysts work in SAP and Excel on P&L and position reporting, Ventures interns do financial modeling, valuation analysis and data room review, and Internal Audit interns analyze financial and technology data. The IT track asks for machine-learning work, and the Detroit and Boston R&D tracks describe AI-based automation, simulator code and CFD workflows.

What Is the Saudi Aramco Application and Interview Process Like?
Aramco Americas doesn't publish an interview guide, but its page and board show the application steps:
1. Pick your tracks. Read the "typical activities" on each posting and choose the ones that match your major.
2. Apply through each track's link. The form asks for a resume (upload or paste), your degree, anticipated graduation date, summer 2027 classification and current GPA.
3. Apply by 5 November 2026. The deadline applies to every track.
4. Interview and offer. Timing and format aren't published; expect contact after the deadline.
Several tracks include a "Which area" question on the form, so read the options before you submit.
What Students on Reddit Say
Reddit has no first-hand account of Aramco Americas' internship. Threads from 2022 to 2026 are students asking about pay, culture and interview prep, mostly without answers, so we don't quote them. The postings are the best source.
How Do You Stand Out for an Aramco Americas Internship?
Three moves, based on the postings.
First, match the track's listed disciplines. Trading names economics, finance, business and statistics; Technical Services prefers mechanical or chemical engineering; R&D names engineering, computer science and geology.
Second, show the tool skills a track lists, such as SAP and Excel for trading, Python for IT and R&D, or financial modeling for Ventures.
Third, apply to more than one track if several fit. Aramco Americas doesn't publish applicant counts, class sizes or a conversion rate, so there's no figure to quote.

FAQ
Can I still apply for a summer 2026 Saudi Aramco internship?
No. The summer 2026 deadline was 31 October 2025, and the program page now shows the 2027 program. The open cycle is summer 2027: all 17 Aramco Americas Summer Student Program tracks accept applications until Thursday 5 November 2026, so apply this week.
When is the Aramco summer 2027 internship deadline?
Thursday 5 November 2026, according to the Aramco Americas Summer Student Program page. It applies to all 17 undergraduate tracks. In earlier cycles the deadline was 15 November 2024 and 31 October 2025, so the date has stayed close to the start of November.
What GPA does Aramco require for interns?
A 3.0 or above. The program page lists a 3.0 minimum GPA among its participation criteria, and the application form asks for your current GPA. That line wasn't on the archived 2025 and 2026 versions of the page, so older advice may not mention it.
Who can apply to the Aramco Summer Student Program?
Students who haven't graduated from an undergraduate university before August 2027 and are a rising sophomore, junior or senior, with relevant coursework or experience. You must be authorized to work in the US by the start, and can join the program for a maximum of two summers.
Is the Aramco Americas internship paid?
Aramco Americas doesn't publish pay on its program page or in the 17 postings, so we can't give a figure. The postings say the roles are eligible for internship course credit. Ask the recruiter about pay and housing, and ignore aggregator averages that mix unrelated listings.
Where are Aramco Americas internships located?
Fourteen tracks are in Houston, Texas, and one each is in Boston, Massachusetts (R&D), the Detroit area (R&D) and Washington, DC (Government/Corporate Affairs). Graduate internships add Palo Alto, California, and Novi, Michigan. The postings don't say which tracks are remote or hybrid.
Are there Aramco internships for graduate students?
Yes, separately. Six graduate internships were posted for summer 2027: venture capital in Palo Alto, R&D in Houston and Novi, Michigan, and a law internship in Houston. They aren't open to undergraduates, so current undergraduates should apply to the 17 Summer Student Program tracks.
Does this guide cover Aramco's internships in Saudi Arabia?
No. This guide covers Aramco Americas Company's US Summer Student Program only. Saudi Aramco runs separate student programs for Saudi nationals in the Kingdom, with their own eligibility and terms, which aren't described here. Search results mix the two, so check that you're on americas.aramco.com.
Aramco Americas' 17 summer 2027 tracks close on 5 November, so apply this week to the ones that fit your major. If you want a finished project to mention in an interview, a remote Externship started now can wrap up in time.
