AEG doesn't have one internship application. Its careers page promises "year-round, 12-week internship programs", but on 17 October 2026 AEG's job board listed 157 open jobs and exactly one internship: a full-time CMN Internship (Touring) at Cardenas Marketing Network, a unit of AEG Presents, in Chicago. It was posted on 30 September 2026, pays $17.67 an hour, requires bilingual Spanish and offers no visa sponsorship. Other units, including The Bowery Presents, WRSTBND and the Ontario Reign, had spring or summer interns on AEG's own internship page in February 2026. Here's the cycle in plain words: summer 2027 roles aren't posted yet, they'll appear unit by unit, and you apply when your unit posts.

One internship is open now: CMN Internship (Touring), Chicago, Spanish required. Summer 2027 roles are expected to appear unit by unit from about December 2026 to March 2027, but AEG publishes no window.
AEG intern work leans on ticket sales reports, campaign artwork and audience knowledge, so a finished project makes your application concrete. Externships are short, remote programs where you complete a real project for a real company, most commonly over 8 weeks. The Breaking Games E-Commerce Data Analysis & Strategy Externship fits the sales reporting, and the Beats by Dre Creative Advertising Strategy Externship fits campaign work. Explore all Externships.
What Is an AEG Internship?
An AEG internship is a paid student role at AEG, the Anschutz Entertainment Group, the venue, live music and sports company behind AEG Presents. AEG's careers page describes year-round, 12-week programs where interns are "paid to dig into challenging projects". Each business unit posts its own roles on AEG's job board, so there's no single intake. The one open today, in the touring department of Cardenas Marketing Network, supports tour marketing with artwork review, ticket sale reports, calendar management and tour routings. This page covers AEG, not AEG Power Solutions.

When Do AEG Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?
AEG's units post interns on their own schedules. The open touring role went up on 30 September 2026, and the same role was listed on AEG's internship page in October 2025. AEG's page also showed a Bowery summer 2026 intern, a WRSTBND spring intern and an Ontario Reign spring intern in February 2026. We can't read exact posting dates for the closed ones, so the windows below are estimates built from neighboring postings, not published dates.
One internship is open on AEG's board: CMN Internship (Touring) in Chicago, posted 30 September, no end date shown. If you speak Spanish and study communications, media or advertising, apply now. Everyone else uses the time to build proof.
Pick two or three units you'd work for, such as AEG Presents, The Bowery Presents or WRSTBND, and check the US Internships link weekly. Closed postings vanish, so you can't see what a unit posted last year.
Applications for summer 2027 are expected to appear unit by unit. The Bowery's summer 2026 intern appears to have gone up between mid-November and late December 2025, and spring interns between late January and mid-March 2026, estimated from the dates of neighboring postings. Spring 2027 roles may land in January to February.
Applications for fall 2027 are expected, and the CMN touring role is expected again around late September, since the previous cycle's touring role was live on AEG's page in October 2025.
AEG describes its internships as 12-week programs. Summer 2027 interns would start around June, but start dates and hours are set per posting.
How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.
Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open
We couldn't measure an AEG window. The CMN posting shows no end date, and a closed AEG posting disappears from the board, so past windows can't be read back. That leaves one practical rule. Apply when a role appears, not after a second look, because nothing on the page tells you when it will close.
Which AEG Internship Programs Should You Target?
AEG's internships are posted by unit, not by program. These are the units whose interns we could see on AEG's own pages.
| Unit | Internship roles seen | Format | Key skills |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cardenas Marketing Network (AEG Presents) | CMN Internship (Touring), Chicago: open now, and listed on AEG's page in October 2025 too | Full time | Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Spanish, ticket sales reports |
| The Bowery Presents | Summer Intern 2026, New York (listed February 2026) | Part time | Not readable |
| WRSTBND | Spring Intern, Sales and Project Management, New Orleans (listed February 2026) | Part time | Not readable |
| Ontario Reign | Spring Intern, Ticket Operations, Ontario, California (listed February 2026) | Not stated | Not readable |
Jobs are posted on AEG's careers page. Event staff and guest services postings make up most of the board and aren't internships.
What Are the Eligibility Requirements?
The open CMN posting sets these terms. Other units post their own:
• Education: currently pursuing a degree in communications, media, advertising or a related field.
• Language: bilingual verbal and written Spanish is required for this role.
• Tools: experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint, plus a basic understanding of budgeting and advertising.
• Work authorization: the posting says AEG doesn't offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
• GPA and academic credit: not stated.

Do You Need Spanish to Intern at AEG?
Only for this posting. Bilingual Spanish is listed as required on the CMN touring role, and it's a requirement of that role, not a program-wide rule. The Bowery, WRSTBND and Ontario Reign roles from February 2026 sit in different units with their own requirements, which we couldn't read. Check the requirements list on every posting.
What Skills Does AEG Look For, and How Do You Build Them?
Only one AEG internship was open to read, so there's no frequency chart. The CMN posting asks for Excel, Word and PowerPoint, organizational skills, attention to detail, a basic grasp of budgeting and advertising and ongoing knowledge of the music industry and current trends. Day to day it means reviewing artwork, building daily ticket sale reports and routing upcoming tours.
Note: Only one AEG internship posting was open on 17 October 2026 (CMN Internship, Touring), so a skills chart would show one requisition. The skills listed above come from that posting in full.

For AEG applicants: AEG's own job board listed 157 jobs on 17 October 2026 and one internship, in Chicago. Keep that board on a weekly check while you apply elsewhere.

Build These Skills Before You Apply
Each skill below comes from the open CMN posting and maps to a remote Externship you can finish before the next AEG roles appear.
| Skill (from real JDs) | JD evidence | Externship that builds it |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket and sales reporting | CMN Touring: daily ticket sale reports and sales reports for newly announced tours | Breaking Games E-Commerce Data Analysis & Strategy |
| Campaign artwork and creative review | CMN Touring: review artwork and spots for accuracy; distribute media artwork for campaigns | Beats by Dre Creative Advertising Strategy |
| Audience and music-trend knowledge | CMN Touring: ongoing knowledge of the music industry and current music trends | Pinterest Gen Z Consumer Behavior |
| Budgeting basics | CMN Touring: basic understanding of budgeting and advertising | Attronica Financial Planning & Analysis and Private Company Valuation |
Link the finished project in your application. A hiring manager reading a stack of touring applications notices a sales report you built before a list of interests.
What Is the AEG Application and Interview Process Like?
AEG doesn't publish an interview format. Here's what the careers pages and the open posting show:
1. Start at the careers page. Open AEG's careers page and choose US Internships, which lists every posting tagged as an intern role. It showed one on 17 October.
2. Read the unit and the requirements. Each posting names its business unit, and a role like the touring internship has its own language and degree line.
3. Apply on AEG's page. Use the application button on the posting. TeamWork Online and Built In copy AEG's postings, so apply at the source.
4. Interview and offer. Interview steps aren't published. Expect questions about the department's work, so know what the unit does before you apply.
Check the US Internships link weekly, because a posting can disappear without notice.
What Students on Reddit Say
Reddit has no AEG internship reviews, so these cards come from 2023 and 2024 career-advice threads where commenters describe working at, or applying to, AEG and its units. They aren't about the current role.
A commenter who had worked for AEG and Live Nation said staff in the offices and venues often wait for a talent-buying desk to open, and described a colleague who did hourly marketing for three years before an assistant-buyer role came up. Their advice was to take any job inside a venue, even part-time marketing or front desk work.
Another commenter told a graduating booking intern not to chase only the biggest promoters. Start in smaller rooms or the box office, they said, and learn the other parts of the live pipeline, such as agents, ticketing platforms, tech and tour management.
In a thread about working in festivals, one commenter said the pay on AEG's careers page looked bleak, and others said the industry is built on knowing people for years, so roles near the top are hard to reach without a network.
How Do You Stand Out for an AEG Internship?
Three moves. First, match the unit. A touring role wants ticket sales reports and calendar discipline, so show a spreadsheet or report you built, not a love of concerts. Second, check the board weekly and apply from AEG's own page. There's no calendar, closed postings vanish, and mirrors can lag. Third, read the language, visa and degree lines before you apply, so you spend your time on roles you can actually take. Commenters in music-industry threads describe slow promotion, so take any marketing or operations intern slot and learn the unit. AEG doesn't publish an applicant count or a conversion rate, so treat the internship as the goal and ask about next steps while you're there.

FAQ
Can I still apply for a summer 2026 AEG internship?
No. Summer 2026 roles, such as The Bowery Presents' summer intern listed on AEG's page in February 2026, are no longer on the board. On 17 October 2026 the only open internship was the CMN Internship (Touring) in Chicago, posted 30 September. Summer 2027 roles aren't posted yet.
Does AEG have internships?
Yes. AEG's careers page describes year-round, 12-week internship programs in which interns are paid to work on real projects. Each business unit posts its own roles, so there's no single application. On 17 October 2026 the board listed one internship among 157 open jobs.
When do AEG summer 2027 internship applications open?
AEG doesn't publish dates. Summer roles are posted unit by unit, and we estimate they'll appear between about December 2026 and March 2027, with low confidence. Nothing for summer is open today. Check AEG's US Internships link weekly from November so you see a posting the day it goes up.
How much do AEG interns make?
The one open posting, the CMN Internship (Touring), lists $17.67 an hour and no bonus. AEG's careers page says interns are paid, but we couldn't read pay for the Bowery, WRSTBND or Ontario Reign roles. Ignore estimates from job-board sites and check the pay line on each posting.
Do I need to speak Spanish to intern at AEG?
Only for the posting that asks for it. The CMN Internship (Touring) in Chicago lists bilingual verbal and written Spanish as required. That's a requirement of that role, not of AEG's internships as a whole. Other units post their own requirements, so read the list on each posting before you apply.
Does AEG sponsor visas for interns?
Not for the one posting we could read. The CMN Internship (Touring) says AEG doesn't offer work visa sponsorship for this position. We couldn't read the other units' postings, so check the work authorization line on each one before you apply, especially if you'll need sponsorship.
Which AEG units hire interns?
AEG's own internship page listed Cardenas Marketing Network, The Bowery Presents, WRSTBND and the Ontario Reign across 2025 and 2026. Each posts separately, in places like Chicago, New York, New Orleans and Ontario, California. Event staff and guest services postings on the same board are part-time jobs, not internships.
Is AEG the same as AEG Power Solutions?
No. This page covers AEG, the Anschutz Entertainment Group, whose careers site is aegworldwide.com and whose business covers venues, live music, sports and ticketing. AEG Power Solutions is a separate company in power electronics, with its own jobs. Check the employer name on any posting before you apply.
AEG has one internship open today, and the rest arrive unit by unit with no published dates. Use the wait to build a project you can link, and if you want one, a remote Externship takes about 5 to 10 hours a week.
