Qualtrics has no internships open today. Its Greenhouse job board listed 87 openings on 26 October 2026 and none was an internship, even though its internships page still invites you to "browse our openings below". The program exists but is small and posts in short batches: in April 2025 Qualtrics put five student intern requisitions online between 31 March and 23 April, for a 19 May start. In plain words, you apply in spring 2027 to intern in summer 2027, and we expect postings around February to April 2027 (low confidence, from one cycle). Qualtrics says 85% of its interns receive a return offer, an undated claim from its own page.
What Is a Qualtrics Internship?
A Qualtrics internship is a student role at Qualtrics, the experience management software company founded in 2002. Qualtrics says each intern is assigned a manager and a mentor, owns a core deliverable tied to metrics, and gets executive Q&As and events. Its page highlights Engineering and sales development (SDR) internships. In April 2025 it also posted sales, UX design, data science, internal audit and people development interns. Don't confuse it with other employers' internships that merely list Qualtrics, the survey tool, as a skill.
When Do Qualtrics Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?
Qualtrics posts small batches rather than one big wave. The summer 2025 sales req was created on 12 February 2025 and went public on 31 March; the UX, data science, internal audit and people reqs went public between 3 and 23 April, about 1.5 to 3 months before a mid-May start. Archived captures of Qualtrics' internships page show no intern reqs in September 2025 and a single Dallas SDR intern req in January 2026, created in September 2025. Those captures are our only evidence, so the 2027 timing below is an estimate.
Nothing is open. Qualtrics' Greenhouse board listed 87 openings on 26 October 2026 and none was an internship, student or early-career role. The internships page is still live but its list is empty.
Expected: possibly one early req, such as the Dallas SDR intern req that went public on 6 January 2026. This rests on a single req, so treat it as a possibility, not a pattern.

Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open
This is a small, uneven program, so timing matters more than usual. The 2025 batch was a handful of reqs, one per team, posted over about three weeks. The program has also paused before: Reddit posters said that in December 2022 Qualtrics pulled software engineering intern reqs in Seattle and Provo and extended a hiring freeze to interns. With so few seats, watch the page from February and apply in the first days a req appears.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?
Qualtrics publishes little eligibility detail, so this is what its pages say.
• Class year: the sales page describes the Professional Sales Internship Program as for a "junior or senior" interested in sales. Other tracks aren't specified in the material we read.
• GPA: not stated.
• Work authorization: not stated on the pages we read.
• Military candidates: a separate SkillBridge Customer Success internship for service members was listed in 2025. It isn't a student role.
• Check the req: when a requisition appears, its text governs.
Can You Apply Without Sales Experience?
For the SDR track, probably. Qualtrics describes the work as prospecting and cold calling with coaching, and the sales page lists 50 or more calls and emails a day with Salesforce and LinkedIn, which are learnable skills. It doesn't state a prior-experience requirement. Treat that as a reading of its marketing copy, not a guarantee, and check the requisition when it posts.

What Skills Does Qualtrics Look For, and How Do You Build Them?
With no live reqs we can't count skills, and the 2025 reqs survive only as titles. Qualtrics' own sales page is the most detailed source: SDR interns make 50 or more cold calls and 50 or more personalized emails a day, work in Salesforce and LinkedIn, and attend one-on-ones and role-plays. For the other tracks, Qualtrics names owning a project, building real product features and tying a deliverable to metrics.

What Is the Qualtrics Application and Interview Process Like?
Qualtrics doesn't publish its intern process, so these steps combine its pages with community reports from earlier years.
1. Watch for a req. Check the internships page and the Greenhouse board from February 2027.
2. Apply to the specific req. Apply through the posting on qualtrics.com, which runs on Greenhouse.
3. Interviews. Qualtrics doesn't publish stages. Reddit posters from 2022 described multiple interview rounds for software engineering interns.
4. Expect delays. In December 2022, posters said Qualtrics paused offers during a hiring freeze and matched offers to headcount per office.
5. Start in May. The 2025 sales internship started on 19 May for 12 weeks.
What Students on Reddit Say
Reddit has a few first-hand posts about Qualtrics internships, all from 2019 to 2022 and about engineering interns. They predate the current small-batch pattern, so read them as history.
In December 2022, a candidate for a software engineering internship said Qualtrics took down the Seattle and Provo postings and told candidates a hiring freeze meant budgets and headcount weren't final. Another reported a rejection because the company was at hiring capacity.
A Provo offer-holder said their recruiter told them offers had gone out for the exact headcount of each office, so a spot was only likely if other students declined. The freeze extended to interns that December and also affected last summer's return offers, per the original poster.
A 2019 intern comparing offers said their recruiter put return offers at 80 to 90% of interns. That's a community report from seven years ago, and Qualtrics' own undated page says 85%.
How Do You Stand Out for a Qualtrics Internship?
First, be ready before the posting: with a handful of seats and short windows, a prepared resume matters more than a fast one. Second, show the job. For sales, that's outreach volume and a CRM habit; for data or UX, a project you can walk through end to end. Third, know the product, because Qualtrics sells survey and experience management software and you can speak to it from using it. Qualtrics publishes no class size, and its 85% return-offer claim is undated.
