FC Dallas, the MLS club that plays at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, posts internships almost all year. In the archived copies of its own Jobvite board we found a summer class by April 2025, a fall class by August 2025, a spring class by mid-November 2025, a 2026-season media class by February 2026, a summer class by March 2026 and a fall class by July 2026.

As of 17 October 2026 no FC Dallas internship is open. The board lists six jobs, all event staff, coaching, housekeeping or sales. The next door is spring 2027, not summer: last cycle's spring internships were already on the board by 17 November and 14 December 2025. In plain words, expect spring 2027 internships around November to December 2026, 2027-season media and sports performance roles around December to February, and summer 2027 internships around February to March 2027.

What Is an FC Dallas Internship?

An FC Dallas internship is a one-term placement with the MLS club in Frisco, Texas, posted as its own listing for each track and term. The club also employs North Texas SC, its second team, and runs a youth club and academy, so the board mixes first-team, second-team and youth roles.

The two internship postings we could read in full show the range. The Fall 2025 Stadium & Complex Operations intern helps run a stadium and soccer complex the posting says is "in use over 300 days a year", from locker-room set-up to pre-game operations. The Summer 2026 Youth Club intern ran the hospitality tent at a college showcase and supported youth tryouts. Frisco Bowl internships also sit on this board, but they are for the college bowl game hosted at Toyota Stadium, not the MLS club.

When Do FC Dallas Internship Applications Open for 2027–2028?

FC Dallas posts in waves that follow the school year plus the MLS season, and the archived board shows when each wave had arrived. Summer 2025 listings were on the board by 30 April 2025 and fall 2025 listings by 13 August. Spring 2026 Frisco Bowl listings were up by 17 November 2025 and the Stadium Operations and sports performance listings by 14 December 2025. The 2026-season media and performance listings were up by 7 February 2026, and summer 2026 listings were absent on 7 February and present on 14 March. Fall 2026 Frisco Bowl listings were up by 9 July 2026.

Those are "seen by" dates, not posting dates, because Jobvite prints none, so each wave may have opened earlier. The summer 2026 Youth Club listing was visible at least seven weeks before its first event on 2 May 2026.

How to read this page: our dates come from tracking previous recruiting cycles and daily posting data. Treat them as informed estimates based on historical patterns, not confirmed dates. The company's official careers page is always the most current source. If a role is posted there, go by that, even if this page suggests the window hasn't opened yet.

Why You Must Apply the Week Applications Open

FC Dallas prints no deadlines and Jobvite shows no posting dates, so we can't tell you how long a listing stays up. What the archive does show is that each class is a handful of single-seat listings per track, and they disappear from the board once the term is set: the Summer 2026 Youth Club listing was visible on 14 March 2026 and is gone now. That points to a short window, so apply the week you see a role rather than waiting for a deadline that isn't coming.

Two things slow people down. The Stadium & Complex Operations internship requires college credit, so sort out your school's paperwork first, and the club posts first-team, second-team, youth and bowl roles separately, so check each door.

Requirements differ by posting; these come from the two we read in full:

• Student status: the Fall 2025 Stadium & Complex Operations internship requires an active college student who must receive college credit through their school.

• Youth Club (Summer 2026): a student with a valid driver license and clean record, a personal vehicle, flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays, and Spanish preferred.

• Availability: hours flexible around school or work, with some nights, weekends and holidays tied to match and event schedules.

• Skills named: Excel and Word, interpersonal communication and event logistics; soccer knowledge preferred for stadium operations.

• GPA and work authorization: not stated in the postings we read.

Do You Really Need College Credit?

For the Stadium & Complex Operations internship, yes: the Fall 2025 posting says you must receive college credit for the internship. We couldn't read the other tracks' text, so don't assume credit is optional elsewhere. Pay is a separate question the postings we read don't answer, so ask in the application or interview before you commit your term.

FC Dallas's two postings we read in full lean on logistics and dependability. The Stadium & Complex Operations internship asks for scheduling, event-day set-up, coordination across departments, safety observation on the fields, and Excel and Word. The Youth Club internship asks for organizing tryouts, uniform fittings, team documents and online databases, plus a driver license and a vehicle. Both stress availability on nights, weekends and holidays. We couldn't read the media, sports performance and Frisco Bowl postings, so we don't report skills for them.

FC Dallas doesn't publish an interview process, so this is what its board makes clear:

1. Set up alerts on the Jobvite board and save the General Application for roles that don't fit a listing.

2. Confirm credit with your school, since the stadium operations internship requires it.

4. Interview. The format isn't published; expect questions on match-day and event availability, which both postings we read stress.

The event-staff jobs on the board today (security, parking, ticket taking) are hourly jobs, not internships.

How Do You Stand Out for an FC Dallas Internship?

Three moves.

First, be ready before the listing exists. Have your credit paperwork started, your resume tailored to one track and your Jobvite alert on by November. The first spring listings last cycle were on the board by mid-November.

Second, show the logistics mindset. Both postings we read reward scheduling, checklists, coordination across departments and calm handling of guest problems. Describe an event you organized and what went wrong and how you fixed it.

Third, say plainly that you can work nights, weekends and holidays, and, for youth roles, that you have a license and a car. FC Dallas doesn't publish class size or a conversion rate, so treat the internship as experience and network with staff while you're there.

No. The summer 2026 listings, including the Youth Club internship seen on 14 March 2026, are gone from the board, and fall 2026 classes are under way. As of 17 October 2026 no FC Dallas internship is open. Spring 2027 internships are expected around November to December 2026.
