Every Athene intern posting says interviews and hiring decisions should be finished before mid-November, with some made as early as late September. On October 5, 2026 its Workday job board had 12 live intern roles, posted between September 14 and 30, and three more from the same batch (Operations, IT Finance Systems Analyst and Finance-Treasury) had already closed. In plain words: you apply during 2026, you intern in summer 2027, and at Athene the useful part of that window is October.
Interns work in the office from mid-May to early August 2027, almost all at the West Des Moines, Iowa headquarters, with one sales role in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Every posting lists a paid housing option for eligible students. You must still be enrolled for the fall 2027 term, so students graduating in spring 2027 don't qualify.
