How Are Externships Different Than Internships?
These projects are virtual and fully remote so you can do it on your own schedule wherever you are. They're structured as online modules that teach you how to do the project that go along with the actual project and live company meetings throughout the externship.
Projects range from a variety of industries and career paths and give you a chance to learn the in-demand soft and hard skills employers are saying incoming workers need to have. Examples include consulting projects in sustainability, creating an investment memo for a VC, game design, and more.
A typical externship lasts 8-12 weeks long at about 5-10 hours each week. It varies based on how much you want to put in, what your background is, but anyone can do any of the externships regardless of GPA, major, or existing experience. You get what you put in!
