Collaborate with industry leaders to analyze digital advertising trends and craft innovative strategies.


In this externship program, students will learn strategic consulting skills to analyze and evaluate challenges from non-profit organizations using consulting frameworks, in an overall effort to help them solve their important problems. Selected individuals will be paired with a specific non-profit organization and dive into their strategic problems, such as development, impact assessment, process improvements, talent engagement, communication, and strategic positioning. Throughout this externship program, professionals from PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) will provide mentorship and coaching.

The Experience

  • Learn about the strategy consulting process and how to help create value for a non-profit client based on their vision and mission
  • Research and develop an understanding of a given field
  • Analyze complex problems ranging from fundraising and development, stakeholder management, impact measurement, as well as use consulting frameworks to help identify problem areas and propose solutions
  • Learn to gather, analyze, and visualize data to inform problem areas and possible solutions
  • Create and deliver a compelling presentation to a non-profit client that incorporates valuable insights, trends, and recommendations


  • Ambitious undergraduate students with an interest in consulting, strategy, and non-profits. This program is for students who would like to understand the consulting profession while generating ideas to help impact non-profit organizations.

Gain hands-on experience in digital advertising with Expedia Group, a leading Global travel technology company (Headquartered in Seattle, WA) at the forefront of innovation!

Expedia Group is on a mission to make travel accessible to all. And they want you to help! Join this mission by diving into digital advertising trends and strategies alongside industry experts.

Your role will be crucial in helping Expedia Group navigate the complex digital advertising landscape. Through hands-on projects, you'll dissect major industry players, gaining insights into their advertising products, revenue models, and over-arching strategies.

This immersive experience will not only position you as a competitive candidate for marketing roles, strategy roles, and beyond but also equip you with invaluable skills that will set you apart in today's dynamic job market.

During this externship, you'll cultivate a diverse skill set, including:
  • Digital Advertising Trends Analysis: Analyze digital advertising trends in a specific region with an emphasis on the travel industry, identifying emerging patterns and strategic opportunities.
  • Ad Strategy: Assess ad revenue, market share, and current/future tools and capabilities in the digital advertising landscape.
  • Competitor Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of major players in the travel industry to understand their advertising strategies and revenue generation mechanisms.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic recommendations for areas of investment in the digital advertising space. 
  • Presentation & Public Speaking: Create engaging presentation decks and video recordings, showcasing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.
