I'm Zeteny Kenesei, a finance-focused business student at College of DuPage and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. In high school, I co-founded Detailing Dudes LLC through Naperville Central's business incubator program, leading marketing and co-generating over $10,000 in revenue. I've also worked two years in a high-volume restaurant and a summer as a lifeguard. Co-founded a mobile auto detailing business with friends through Naperville Central High School's business incubator program and registered it as an LLC. I led our marketing strategy and managed scheduling and customer communication, growing the business mainly through word-of-mouth referrals and repeat customers.
Built a base of 60+ clients and co-generated over $10,000 in revenue over about two years. After graduating, we transferred the business to incoming incubator students so it could keep running. The experience taught me how a small business earns revenue, manages costs, and builds customer trust, and it sparked my interest in finance.

The externship centred on sourcing potential Vertical AI investments and producing investor-facing analyses for a newly launched VC fund. Work combined market research, startup screening, and investment memo drafting. Deliverables included investment memo material and a structured evaluation of target startups.
I worked through the fund's deal-sourcing workflow, screened startups, and drafted sections of an investment memo that summarized company opportunity, go-to-market considerations, and key risks.
