  • Ummah Connect
    Ummah Connect

    Collaborated in a 4-person team to design and build Ummah Connect, a full-stack social discovery app helping Muslim students, newcomers, and professionals discover relevant events, communities, and meaningful connections. Built a two-step onboarding flow and five-tab navigation system, creating a streamlined user experience for personalized profile setup, event discovery, community engagement, connection management, and navigation across the application. Designed and implemented a shared key-value backend supporting user sign-up, member search, mutual connection requests, event creation, and community management, enabling persistent storage and data sharing across core application features. Developed profile editing functionality and a polished dark/light-mode interface using a custom visual design system, maintaining consistent layouts, components, and interactions throughout the application while enhancing overall usability.

  • Doubly Linked List Implementation
    Doubly Linked List Implementation

    Built a doubly linked list from scratch in Java with a custom Node class and bidirectional links between adjacent nodes. Implemented 3 core operations (insertion, deletion, traversal) for efficient dynamic list manipulation and data management. Applied object-oriented design principles to improve data encapsulation, code organization, and long-term maintainability. Tested edge cases such as empty lists and boundary insertions to ensure correctness and reliable program behaviour.

Password Strength Checker & Generator

Built a multi-file Python application with 5+ helper functions to evaluate password strength and validate user input data. Developed helper functions to evaluate password strength using character composition and password security requirements. Designed a rule-based scoring algorithm using password length, character diversity, and validation checks for accuracy. Implemented a secure random password generator following predefined security constraints and formatting specifications. Structured the program modularly to improve code readability, testing, maintainability, and overall function reusability.

Workout Planner

Built an interactive Python program supporting multiple equipment types and difficulty levels for personalized workouts. Validated user input across multiple paths to prevent invalid equipment or strength selections and ensure program execution. Used nested dictionaries to organize workouts by equipment type and difficulty level for efficient data organization. Created helper functions to compute repetition counts based on workout intensity and difficulty level for personalized plans. Formatted output to present a complete, readable workout plan with exercises, repetitions, equipment, and difficulty.
