The work analyzed a cloud-connected water-management deployment for a 500-room hotel, inventoried devices and assets, and produced a STRIDE-based threat model highlighting weak dashboard authentication, missing API rate limiting, and remote-shutoff risks. The projects implemented and measured defenses across the MQTT pipeline, including TLS/mTLS, replay protections, a real-time security
I delivered a complete security assessment and defended MQTT pipeline artifacts: a STRIDE threat model, plaintext capture evidence, TLS and mTLS implementations with test results, replay-attack experiments showing which defenses worked, a live security dashboard with attack-attribution charts, and an optional Isolation Forest anomaly prototype.
