The externship worked with large public healthcare datasets to analyze infection trends and apply statistical methods. The work included building interactive dashboards and conducting correlational analyses to explore patterns in the data. Deliverables documented analyses and visualizations produced from those datasets.
I identified the CDC PLACES ZCTA dataset and verified that it contained both housing insecurity and coronary heart disease measures where they coexisted, confirming its suitability for an area-level correlational analysis.
