Overview

The externship exercised offensive and defensive techniques against an operational IoT deployment for a marina. The work inspected device interactions, attack surfaces, and network flows, then progressed to hands-on exploitation and implementation of protocol-level defenses. Deliverables documented vulnerabilities and recommended technical mitigations.
