The externship explored agent development using n8n, moving from environment setup to prompt engineering and live workflows. The work involved configuring an AI workspace, creating Prompt Nodes, and running test workflows in n8n. Deliverables documented the configured workspace and the Prompt Node implementation.
I built an AI-agent workflow in n8n, starting with the environment setup and then designing prompts that shaped agent outputs. Below are the specific pieces I delivered.
Built an AI-driven budgeting and spending analytics platform, creating recurring dashboards and reporting workflows to support financial planning, forecasting, and leadership decision-making. Generated and managed month-to-month Capital vs. Operational Expenses to support financial reports and due diligence on budget vs. actual finances. Positioned FlowFundAI’s value proposition through clear product messaging and data-driven visuals, improving discoverability and helping users understand spending patterns and financial insights.
Used a dashboard to track performance and utilization trends, supporting leadership planning while guiding the ACM website redesign into a clear hub for events and resources that increased visibility and student participation. Partnered cross-functionally to improve data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting workflows, contributing to a 30% improvement in platform performance metrics.
Developed and applied analytical models to evaluate performance, efficiency, and accuracy, balancing quality, speed, and resource utilization while identifying key drivers impacting system reliability.
