My interest in finance has grown through hands-on experiences in investment research, financial modeling, and valuation. Through the Private Markets Club at the University of Delaware, I've worked on investment cases and led a team to first place in a take-private LBO competition. During my externship with Yinan Zhao, I gained hands-on experience in value investing and financial modeling. I analyzed stocks within the Russell 2000 Value index, utilized AI tools for research, and developed skills in interpreting financial documents and risk assessment. This project enhanced my understanding of investment strategies and prepared me for a finance career.
I produced an HTML stock card for Sterling Infrastructure (STRL), a shareable spreadsheet summarizing the company's 10-K business overview, and a locked qualitative risk-and-catalyst template consolidating earnings notes, investor commentary, and competitor mapping.
