The Hydroficient IoT Cyber Defense externship reproduced an operational water-monitoring installation and required building attack and defense artifacts against that system. The work mapped device roles (sensors, brokers, actuators), executed spoofing and replay attack proofs of concept, and implemented protocol-level mitigations such as TLS and mTLS where specified.

I worked through a sequence of labs and exercises that covered system discovery, exploit development, and protocol hardening, producing attack demonstrations and corresponding defensive configurations.
