    This externship explores how care coordination work in acute mental health settings can be designed, analyzed, and communicated as a customer-centric operational system. Externs study the case manager’s role at IMH to understand how workflows shape patient experience, surface hidden risks, and make invisible coordination work visible. Through structured analysis, process mapping, and dashboard prototyping, externs learn how operational clarity supports continuity of care, safety, and institutional decision-making.

About me

I am a finance and operations professional with expertise in FP&A, valuation, and healthcare process mapping, focused on providing data-driven insights for smarter decision-making.

I am enhancing my financial and operational skills through two externships. As an FP&A and Private Company Valuation Extern, I analyzed financial statements, built forecasts, and modeled valuation scenarios for a $63M IT firm. At the same time, I am completing a Healthcare Operations and Consulting Externship with the Institute of Mental Health, where I use systems thinking and process mapping to analyze care coordination workflows, identify risks, and prototype dashboards. These experiences have improved my analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities.
