The externship examined product approaches social apps use to encourage repeated engagement while preserving authentic user experiences. Work included benchmarking competitor engagement features and designing a feature concept for a growth-driven social app. Deliverables documented comparative tradeoffs and proposed feature specifications.

I produced a five-stage end-to-end user journey for BeReal that described user actions, thoughts, and feelings at each stage and connected observed behaviors to potential product risks and retention outcomes.
