Overview

During my externship with Hydroficient, I built and defended IoT infrastructure against realistic cyber threats. I conducted cyberattacks such as spoofing and unauthorized shutoffs, while also implementing robust defenses like TLS and mTLS. Ultimately, I developed a comprehensive security playbook to assist the company in enhancing their IoT cybersecurity strategy.

What I've accomplished

I produced a STRIDE-based threat model with asset inventories and remediation suggestions, plus runnable Colab notebooks and a downloadable mock sensor log that parsed and cleaned IoT JSON data.
