A 40-year-old, $80M family-owned IT firm is preparing to sell — and they need real FP&A work to back it: clean financials, a defensible forecast, and a valuation. Organize the books, model the forecast, and deliver a valuation that lands on the CEO's desk and on a buyer's table.
The work reviewed and cleaned the firm's historical financial statements, constructed a multi-year financial forecast, and produced a valuation model for a private-company sale. The project reconciled prior accounting inconsistencies, tested forecast scenarios, and delivered valuation outputs suitable for review by company leadership.
I completed the externship tasks that prepared the financial records and models needed for valuation, documenting the steps taken and the deliverables produced.
