The externship addressed Attronica's need for FP&A and valuation materials for a family-owned IT firm preparing for sale. Work involved organizing historical financial statements, building a forecast model, and producing a valuation using the cleaned inputs. The deliverables were a corrected set of financials, a forward-looking forecast model, and a valuation report.
I worked through the externship tasks to prepare financials and a valuation: I handled confidentiality requirements, cleaned and adjusted historical statements, built a multi-year forecast, and produced a valuation using standard private-company methods.
