Overview

During my externship with TruBridge, I engaged with real healthcare data to extract meaningful insights. I explored how data analytics and AI can enhance decision-making in healthcare, focusing on social determinants of health. This experience involved building foundational knowledge in data analytics and honing my research question while utilizing Python for analysis.

In this project, I built a solid foundation in data analytics, focusing on its application in healthcare. Below are the key tasks I completed that shaped my learning and research development.

Project 1: Build Foundations of Data Analytics

I examined the fundamentals of data analytics, emphasizing its significance and applications within healthcare. This included an in-depth exploration of social determinants of health, which established a critical framework for my research throughout the externship.

Project 2: Collect and Pre-Process Data for Analysis

I gathered relevant healthcare data from public sources and utilized language models to identify potential analyses. Following data collection, I cleaned and pre-processed the datasets to ensure they were primed for effective analysis.
