Upon completion, receive a $500 stipend to recognize your hard work and dedication. At each program you'll spend about 10 hours per week over 5 weeks.

Stipend Eligibility

To receive your stipend, you must:

  • Attend / recently attended a US-based community college
  • Be a first-time participant — students who have previously received a stipend through an Extern community college externship are not eligible for an additional stipend
  • Successfully complete all program requirements and deliverables
  • Maintain high attendance at scheduled meetings and sessions
  • Be located in the United States

Extern reserves the right to withhold stipend payments in cases of suspected misrepresentation or fraudulent activity.
